Cambooya Community Garden

Thanks to a number of grants, we have been able to set up a garden for the local Cambooya community to enjoy. Located on the corner of Eton and Lucy Streets, the garden includes several wicking garden beds:
  • 2 large garden beds:
    • bay, keffir lime and strawberries.
    • lemon, cumquat and strawberries.
  • 4 smaller garden beds:
    • various tomatoes, okra, eggplant and silverbeet.
    • native food plants; midgenberry, native spinach, finger lime, atherton raspberry and pepperberry.
    • cucumbers, runner beans, lettuces and chives.
    • herb garden; choc mint, parsley, basil, thyme, oregano curry bush.
A white mulberry tree has also been planted nearby.

We plan to add other fruit trees over time.

Please help yourself to what's growing in the garden, but be thoughtful of others.

If you're interested in contributing to the community garden, please see here for how you can get involved.
